The journey to Manaslu Base Camp is not just about reaching the destination. It’s everything you see, feel and experience along the way. The trail to the base camp is part of the larger Manaslu Circuit Trek, one of the most scenic and culturally rich trekking routes in Nepal.

As you start your trek you’ll walk through peaceful villages surrounded by green hills and terraced farms where local people grow rice, millet and vegetables. The early parts of the trek are gentle, with warm weather and easy paths. As you go higher the landscape changes. Forests of pine, rhododendron and oak appear and you’ll hear the sounds of birds and rushing streams all around you.

Eventually the trail leads you to higher altitudes where the trees thin out and the terrain becomes rocky and wild. You’ll walk alongside glacial rivers and cross high suspension bridges that connect one side of the mountain to the other. Snow capped peaks start to surround you and the air is fresh and crisp.
